Clearance is the one that surprises people. Service lines have minimum height requirements over driveways, structures and trafficable areas, and building a deck or carport under an existing service can quietly make a compliant installation non-compliant.
Plan it before you build, not after

If your renovation touches the roofline, the fascia, or anywhere near where the service comes in, get the point of attachment sorted into the plan. We routinely get called by builders who are ready to put a roof on and have just realised the service line is in the way — at which point everything stops until a Level 2 ASP can attend and an outage can be coordinated.
